Tater Tot Recipes With Ground Beef
Lately, we have been having more and more busy afternoons and evenings. My husband got a promotion at work, which is fabulous news, but it has resulted in a heavier workload and longer hours for him. Couple that with my kids being a children's theater musical production, taking piano lessons and practicing for a school variety show, and you can see how our family time has lessened. We have had to eat on-the-go more or eat separately. This has been hard for me, as one of the things I have always tried to do as a parent is to connect over meals. Recently on a weekend, I decided it was time to sit down all together and catch up and connect with a home-cooked meal. I made a hamburger tater tot casserole since I knew it was something easy and delicious that the whole family would love. It is also one of the best ground beef recipes I know! Then add cream of chicken soup, Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce and combine. Place the mixture in a 9 x 13 baking dish and layer with shredded cheddar and yummy crumbled bacon. My husband has a shirt that says "That's too much bacon...said no one ever" so you know we love our bacon.
